- St. Jude's Trike-A-Thon
It’s that time of year again when we come together to give back to families in need of our support during what can be one of the most stressful and discouraging times of their lives. We are excited to announce that our annual St. Jude Trike-A-Thon will be held on February 11. This year, instead of bikes and/or wheels, we are excited to announce our upcoming Color Run, a fun and energetic event. This special event encourages our students to run with joy, purpose, and heart while remembering that everything we do can honor God. Last year, we raised nearly $6,000—an amazing accomplishment! Our hope is to meet or exceed that total again this year. How your participation helps: Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90% and won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

St Paul Lutheran Church Children & Family Ministries SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School is off to a great start with three different age group classes that started on September 10th. Class time is from 9:40-10:20AM. We have a preschool and kindergarten class, elementary school class, and a middle school class. The preschool-elementary school age classes meet in Parish Hall and the middle school class meets in the youth loft (enter on narthex side of Underdahl Hall). Check-in for elementary age and below with Dona Charlton in the narthex. Parents, please pick up your children from the Parish Hall between 10:20 and 10:25 so that teachers and helpers can get to 10:30 church if needed. We are still in need of 2 substitutes and at least one more assistant. Please sign up with Dona during Sunday School registration or if you would like to help! CELEBRATING YOUR BAPTISM Come and join us for a family night event on October 20th from 5PM-7PM. Pastor Charlton will lead an evening activity all about how your family can remember each person's baptism. There will be pizza and a craft for each child in your family. Contact Ashley Harte at ashleyharte@me.com with dietary restrictions, # in your family, and # of children to RSVP for this fun family night! Don't forget to sign-up to acolyte! There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in Underdahl Hall for church services through the end of the year.
